The important thing is that he enjoyed eating the cake and that he got some gifts that he really enjoys.
Brittney turned 10 on September 14th. I wasn't sure what to do for her cake, then Art came up with this cute idea...
For those of you who play gamecube or wii, you might recognize "Mimi" from Monkeyball. The colors, of course are off a bit, but that is par for the course when I make cakes. Anyhow, Brittney liked her Mimi cake.
Brittney also got a few gifts that she was excited about, including her "High School Musical" blanket and her special edition Gameboy Advance. She was wanting a GBA instead of a DS so that she could interface with the GameCube on Animal Crossing and Zelda.
My parents came out for dinner on Brittney's birthday and they brought some fun gifts for both Brittney and Levi which were very well received. Brittney is going to celebrate with friends next month by taking a few friends to see "High School Musical 3" when it comes out. We decided to wait for the premiere of HSM3 instead of going to see a movie that we weren't really excited about just so that it was close to her birthday. So, we'll try and do a follow-up blog after that event.
