Being as we will be staying in this house for the foreseeable future, we need more room. So, we've decided to add on to our house. We have volume ceilings above our living room and dining room and so we're filling that space in at the 2nd story. Above the living room will be a large semi-private room which we will use as a playroom/tv room and bedroom for 2 of our boys. Above the dining room will be a master retreat. Here are some 3D images of the proposed changes to our house. If all goes as planned, construction will begin in April and will finish up in 10-15 business days.

Front of house - new detail around window to left of door, new window above that. (There is currently a semi-circle window above the large window next to the door.)

These are just computer generated images obviously, but it's kinda cool to get an idea of what it will look like when it's done. I especially like how it appears they placed my home in the middle of a field in Yosemite! I could get used to views like that and a lack of the super-close neighbors we have now!
